Description
This lot comprises three items of vintage English football memorabilia focusing on national and domestic competitions. The first item is a World Cup Soccer Stars Mexico 70 souvenir publication, with a cover featuring Bobby Moore and an original price of 2/6. The second item is The Official England Squad Medal Collection 1998, issued by Sainsbury’s, which includes a collector’s folder and a selection of commemorative medals for the 1998 England World Cup squad. The third item is an F.A. Cup Centenary Medals 1872-1972 collection board, attributed to Esso, which contains medals representing various cup-winning clubs such as Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester United, arranged around a central 1972 winners medal.
Condition report:
The items show signs of age and handling. The Mexico 70 publication has creasing to the cover and wear along the spine. The Sainsbury\'s 1998 collection is in used condition with an incomplete set of medals. The F.A. Cup Centenary board displays significant wear to the edges, surface scuffing, and minor tearing to the card surface around the medal apertures.
