Description
An assortment of vintage fly fishing equipment featuring several fly reels of various designs, sizes, and finishes. Included in the collection are two identified reels: a small silver-toned model with a centre cap marked Leeda RimFly and a larger dark grey reel marked RimFly Cartridge 375. The remaining reels display various features such as perforated spools, solid-faced designs, and textured crackle finishes in black, silver, and brown. The lot also includes two cylindrical brass spring scales and a black leatherette pouch with gold-tone lettering for a Fisherman’s De-Liar. The entire collection is housed in a grey plastic tackle box equipped with an integrated battery-operated light in the lid and a removable internal tray with clear plastic lids.
Condition report:
The items show consistent signs of age and previous field use. Several reels exhibit surface scratches, finish wear, and minor oxidation on metal components. The tackle box shows external scuffing but appears structurally sound. The functionality of the integrated light has not been tested.
