Description
A varied collection of vintage marbles of multiple styles and sizes. The items are manufactured from glass and include a range of designs such as transparent, opaque, and swirl varieties. Notable inclusions are several large-scale ‘shooters’ or ‘boulders’, featuring opaque white milk-glass style spheres and a clear marble containing internal yellow and white swirls. The assortment also comprises classic cat’s eye marbles with internal ribbon structures, transparent ‘clearies’ in various hues such as blue and green, and marbles with multi-coloured internal confetti or speckle patterns. The collection is presented in a rectangular wooden storage box alongside a blue floral-patterned zippered fabric pouch containing a further selection of marbles. No manufacturer marks are visible, indicating a mixed lot assembled over time.
Condition report:
The collection is in good, played-with condition. Surfaces exhibit typical wear consistent with age and use, including minor scuffs, pitting, and small flea-bite chips. The wooden box and fabric pouch show signs of age-related wear to the finish and materials.
