Description
An S.T. Dupont pocket lighter featuring a silver-plated body decorated with a vertical wavy engine-turned guilloche pattern. The lighter is designed with a contrasting gold-toned ignition roller. The side of the lighter casing is inscribed S.T. Dupont PARIS. The lighter is presented in its original red rectangular presentation case with a cream-coloured lining, which bears the maker’s mark S.T. Dupont PARIS in gold lettering. The set includes a pair of green gas refill canisters, which are labelled S.T. DUPONT PARIS and Made in France.
Condition report:
The lighter shows visible surface tarnishing and wear consistent with age and use, including light surface scratches. The gold-toned roller displays minor wear to the plating. The interior lining of the presentation case exhibits light discolouration and some staining. The exterior of the box shows minor shelf wear. The functionality of the lighter and the pressure levels of the gas canisters are untested.
