Description
A collection of approximately 19 miniature musical instruments suitable for display or dollhouse use. The assortment includes a diverse range of pieces from the string, brass, and woodwind families. Stringed instruments feature a double bass, three violins or violas of varying sizes, an acoustic guitar with a yellow finish, a mandolin, two lute-style instruments, a banjo-type instrument, and a rectangular zither or koto-style instrument. The brass-toned items include a French horn, a tuba, a trumpet with a brass-tone finish, a trumpet with a silver-tone finish, and two saxophones. Woodwind representations include a silver-tone flute and two recorders or oboes in dark wood tones. The items are constructed from a combination of polished and stained wood, along with gold and silver-toned metal and metallic-finished plastic. Several pieces feature fine details including bridges and wire strings. No maker’s marks or signatures are visible.
