Description
Two manual coffee mills of varying age and manufacture. The Zassenhaus mill is constructed from a light-coloured wood with a polished metal dome hopper and a crank handle topped with a wooden knob. The front features an oval metal plaque with a crest and the Zassenhaus brand name. The second grinder is a vintage box-style mill made of dark wood with dovetail joinery and an open hopper design. This model features an oxidised metal grinding mechanism and a crank handle with a dark wood knob. Both units include a single pull-out drawer at the base for coffee collection.
Condition report:
The Zassenhaus grinder is in good condition with minor surface abrasions to the wood. The vintage dark wood mill shows significant signs of age and wear, including heavy oxidation and surface rust to the metal components. The wood casing on the vintage model exhibits scratches and a dark patina throughout.
