Description
This lot comprises a promotional presentation box and two lighter sets produced for British American Tobacco Germany for the millennium. The white card presentation box is titled Millennium Edition and features a decorative orange and yellow band with a leaf motif. The interior lid provides biographical text in German and English for four designers: Kurt Weidemann, Peter Lindbergh, Bruno Sacco, and Phoenix Product Design, detailing their Lucky Strike Designer Awards. The box contains four square artistic panels corresponding to each designer, including a photographic design with a facsimile signature reading Lindbergh N.Y. 2000 in silver-coloured ink. Included are two identical sets titled Die limitierte Feuerzeug Edition von HB. Each set contains five disposable pictorial lighters featuring sunset-themed graphics and the HB brand logo. The packaging includes health warnings in German and technical specifications for tar and nicotine content.
Condition report:
The collection is in good condition. The white presentation box shows light surface marks, minor scuffing to the corners, and faint soiling consistent with age and handling. The lighter sets appear unused and remain in their original card and plastic retail packaging.
