Notable pieces include a Stratton England 22 ct gold plated telephone index case in its original presentation box and a Marguet N 8 B film splicer with its original retail packaging. The lot contains a liquid-filled military-style baseplate compass with a folding mirror. Also present is a leather-cased manicure or vanity set featuring multiple implements with white handles, a large industrial hand stamp with a wooden handle, and a patinated metal giraffe figurine. Further items include a small grey Buddha figure, a miniature Castrol branded barrel, an owl-shaped thimble, several chrome-finish spheres, a multi-tool, and a vintage LP 15 magnetic tape box.
Condition report:
Items show various signs of age, wear, and use consistent with an estate clearance lot. Medals exhibit varying degrees of patination and surface tarnishing. The leather case for the tool set shows scuffing and wear to the binding. White handles on the implements show minor discoloration typical of bone or composite materials. Boxed items show shelf wear. Mechanical components such as the compass and film splicer appear physically intact but have not been tested for functional accuracy.
