Description
An English circular brass-cased marine-style bulkhead wall clock. The white dial features black Roman numeral hour markers and an outer track with Arabic numerals at five-minute intervals. The dial includes three black-finished hands: a spade-tipped hour hand, a minute hand, and a central sweep seconds hand. A single winding aperture is positioned between the VI and VII markers. A regulation slot is located below the XII marker with S and F indicators for Slow and Fast. The dial is marked MADE IN ENGLAND at the bottom. The clock is contained within a brass case with a glazed bezel.
Diameter: approximately 18 cm.
Condition report:
The dial exhibits significant foxing and surface discolouration across the entire face. The brass case shows overall tarnishing, surface wear, and minor oxidation consistent with age. The glass is present and appears free of major cracks. Movement is untested for timekeeping accuracy.
