Description
This lot comprises two pieces of sports memorabilia relating to the boxing career of Muhammad Ali. The first item is an ESPN Ali Exclusive DVD and Book box set. The large-format presentation box features a cover image of Ali in the ring with overlaid lettering and includes a DVD titled Ali – The Greatest and a book titled King of the World. The interior contains a career collage panel documenting significant highlights, such as the 1960 Olympic gold medal win and matches against Sonny Liston, George Foreman, and Joe Frazier, alongside printed quotes from 1974. The second item is a framed black and white reproduction print of the 1961 photograph by Flip Schulke, depicting Cassius Clay training underwater in a swimming pool. The print is presented in a glass clip-style frame. No hand-signed autographs or certificates of authenticity are included with this lot.
Condition report:
The presentation box shows signs of shelf wear, including scuffing and minor wear to the corners and edges. The interior collage panel has creasing consistent with its fold-out design. The framed photograph appears to be in good condition within the frame.
