Description
A National Geographic branded spotting scope with an angled eyepiece, mounted on a Velbon CX 300 tripod. The spotting scope features a black rubberised composite body with the maker’s logo and name to the side. The eyepiece is equipped with a zoom function marked at 40x and 60x magnification. The body includes a top-mounted focus knob and a removable objective lens cap. The supporting Velbon CX 300 tripod has three-section metal legs with flip-lock adjusters and a central brace. The tripod head is a pan-and-tilt type with a control handle and a geared centre column.
Condition report:
The item is in used condition with visible surface dust and scuffs to the rubberised finish of the scope and the tripod legs. The objective lens appears clear, but the internal optics and mechanical smoothness of the adjustments have not been fully tested. No case or further accessories are included.
