Description
A large-scale Italian bisque porcelain sculptural group by Creazioni Cedraschi, depicting an elderly peasant farmer walking beside a cow. The figures are meticulously modelled with realistic anatomical detail, showing the musculature of the cow and the expressive features of the man, who is portrayed wearing a sleeveless undershirt and trousers with suspenders. The scene is finished with a matte, hand-painted polychrome decoration. It is mounted on an integral rectangular base with a white glazed surface and gilded rococo-style scrollwork along the edges. The base bears a cursive signature reading G. Cedraschi and a red circular factory mark inscribed CREAZIONI CEDRASCHI ITALY.

Condition report:
The figurine is in good overall condition. There are no apparent chips, cracks, or signs of professional restoration. The mottled, darkened finish on the cow is an intentional part of the original artistic decoration meant to simulate a realistic appearance. Fine extremities such as the horns and fingers appear intact.
