An eclectic collection of vintage items including scientific and engineering instruments, automobilia, and various desk accessories. The scientific section features three slide rules: a Thornton PIC model in a worn cardboard box, a Faber-Castell Mentor-Fix 157/80 in a plastic sleeve, and a Reiss Duplex 3227 in a grey fitted case. Also included is a Pyramid Automatic Calculating Instrument, a stylus-operated mechanical adder in a grey case, a multi-fold boxwood and brass rule, and a large magnifying glass with a turned black handle.

The collection includes a significant white metal commemorative medallion for German racing driver Wolfgang Graf Berghe von Trips, featuring a profile portrait and the date 10.9.1961. Other items include a small wooden box with the Harley-Davidson bar and shield logo, a die-cast vintage car model, and a Coral travel alarm clock in a black folding case alongside a miniature brass-cased bedside clock.

Further accessories comprise a set of ornate metal scissors, a rubber stamp, a boxed ink pen and nib set, a Russian-style hand-painted floral lacquered pot, a circular floral enamel pill box, and a metal dish with a hand-motif relief. Barware and miscellaneous items include a Grant’s Scotch Whisky presentation tin containing a miniature bottle, a leather-wrapped flask, and a metal cup, plus a green glass decanter with a metal pourer, a small copper oil can, a ceramic bird figurine, a leather pouch, and an embroidered cloth badge.

Condition report:

The items are in varied vintage condition consistent with age and use. The Thornton slide rule box shows significant wear and paper loss. The Faber-Castell and Reiss slide rules show surface wear. Clocks and mechanical instruments are untested for working order. General surface wear, dust, and minor oxidation are present across the metal and wooden components. Prospective bidders are advised to review all images for specific condition details.
