Description
A collection of manual medical diagnostic equipment comprising several aneroid sphygmomanometers and acoustic stethoscopes. Three of the blood pressure sets are housed within black zippered synthetic leatherette carrying cases, featuring fabric pressure cuffs in tan and blue colourways. An additional set is displayed loose, consisting of a green fabric cuff with an orange vinyl reinforcement patch and an olive green rubber inflation bulb. The gauges are of the aneroid type, featuring circular metal casings and white dial faces with black printed scales graduated from 0 to 300 mmHg. Two acoustic stethoscopes are included in the lot, featuring black rubberised tubing, metal binaurals with white plastic earpieces, and circular metal chest pieces. One gauge face displays a red square logo with white characters and a CE mark; however, specific manufacturer names are not clearly legible across the collection.
Condition report:
The instruments show signs of previous professional use, including minor surface wear to the carrying cases and some light scuffing to the gauge lenses and tubing. The mechanical function of the inflation bulbs, valves, and gauges has not been tested. Calibration has not been verified. Sold as a collection of medical instruments in as-found condition.
