Description
A large length of heavy-duty furnishing fabric, likely composed of cotton or a cotton-linen blend, suitable for upholstery, curtains, or interior decor projects. The fabric features a repeating, antique-style world map design printed in a sepia-toned palette of creams, tans, and browns. The map includes detailed labels for major continents including Africa, Asia, Europe, North America, South America, and Australia, alongside various oceans, compass roses, and nautical latitude and longitude grid lines. Along the white selvage edge, the fabric is printed with the text AN EXCLUSIVE FABRIC DESIGNED IN ENGLAND. The piece appears to be a substantial remnant or partial bolt length.
Condition report:
The fabric appears to be in unused condition. There is visible creasing throughout consistent with being folded or stored. One end features a raw, frayed cut edge where it has been removed from a larger bolt, while the long sides retain the finished selvage.
