Description

An assortment of wind instruments comprising three soprano recorders, a tin whistle, and a decorative wooden flute. The collection includes a dark brown plastic soprano recorder with German fingering, housed in its original yellow vinyl snap-fasten case marked Soprano Recorder German Japan. There is a two-tone molded plastic soprano recorder in dark brown and cream finishes, and a bright yellow plastic soprano recorder. The lot further includes a black coated metal Feadóg tin whistle in the key of D, featuring a black plastic mouthpiece and a yellow maker’s label. Completing the collection is a dark reddish-brown wooden flute, intricately hand-carved with continuous floral and foliate patterns across the body, featuring six finger holes and a rectangular labium opening. The instruments are accompanied by one yellow vinyl case and one red and black fabric zip-up case.

Condition report:

The instruments are in good used condition overall. The plastic recorders show typical surface wear and minor scuffing consistent with use. The tin whistle exhibits minor surface scratches. The carved wooden flute appears well-preserved with detailed carving and no visible cracks or repairs. The cases show some signs of wear, including creasing to the vinyl and light marking on the fabric.
