Description
This lot comprises a large collection of vintage Kensitas Cigarette silk trade cards, part of the A Series of 60 National Flags issued by J. Wix and Sons Ltd, London, circa 1933. The silks represent various nations and territories, with visible examples including Austria, Romania, Lithuania, Latvia, and several British Empire flags such as the Royal Air Force, the Royal Standard (England), and the Malay states of Selangor and Pahang. Each silk features a printed flag design accompanied by the Kensitas Cigarettes branding and series title. Many items remain housed within their original protective glassine paper envelopes.
The collection is contained within a high-quality repurposed wooden presentation box from the Swiss luxury watchmaker DeLaneau. The box features a hinged lid with decorative corner inlays and a padded white fabric lining. The interior lid is printed with the manufacturer name DeLaneau and the cursive text Le Joaillier de la Montre.

Condition report:
The silks are in generally good vintage condition with vibrant colours. The protective glassine envelopes exhibit characteristic age-related toning, yellowing, and some creasing. The wooden presentation box is in good condition with minor surface wear consistent with age and use. The interior lining remains clean.
