Description
A vintage cast brass sculpture in the style of mid-20th-century animalier decorative arts, depicting a pair of bighorn mountain rams traversing a craggy, rock-form base. The piece is constructed from cast brass with a textured finish applied to the bodies of the animals to represent shaggy coats, contrasting with the more ruggedly textured rocky outcrop. The sculpture is unmarked with no visible maker signs or signatures.

Condition report:
The sculpture is in good vintage condition with an aged patina. There are areas of darkening in the textured recesses and visible patches of greenish verdigris oxidation, particularly around the lower edge of the base. Minor surface wear and pitting are present, consistent with age and the casting method.
