Description
A limited-edition mantel clock produced by The Bradford Exchange, featuring the Lamplight Lane pattern by artist Thomas Kinkade. The shaped case is constructed from hard-fire porcelain with a marbled cream and pink glaze, embellished with gold-tone gilded borders and applied yellow floral motifs. The lower portion of the case displays a reproduction of Kinkade’s picturesque village scene at twilight. The circular white dial features black Arabic numerals, spade-and-lozenge hour and minute hands, and a central sweep seconds hand, with the word QUARTZ printed at the six o’clock position. The reverse is extensively marked in black script with Issue No. B 3864, the title Lamplight Lane Heirloom Porcelain Clock, and Bradex Number 84-B11-948.1. It bears copyright dates of 2003 for both The Bradford Exchange and Thomas Kinkade, Media Arts Group, Inc.
Height: approximately 23 cm.
Condition report:
The porcelain case is in good decorative condition with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs. The gold-tone gilded accents remain bright. The quartz movement is currently untested and requires a battery.
