Description
A diverse collection of natural history specimens, including mineral and fossil examples, presented in two separate cases. The assortment features a substantial specimen of botryoidal malachite with characteristic green concentric banding and a polished face. Included is a fossilised ammonite with distinct ribbing. The collection contains several rough chunks of rose quartz and a polished slice of blue lace agate. A large, rounded specimen of orbicular jasper displays green and cream patterns. Quartz specimens are varied, consisting of clear points, a cluster of brownish crystals, and a portion of a white quartz geode. Further components include tumbled and polished stones, notably a teardrop-shaped smoky quartz and a heart-shaped stone with a metallic iridescent coating. The specimens are housed within a light-toned wooden box with a hinged lid and a red velvet-covered three-compartment display case featuring a mirrored interior lid and a brass-tone catch.
Condition report:
The specimens are in good condition, exhibiting natural surface textures, inclusions, and features consistent with raw and polished mineral samples. The display boxes show light signs of handling and wear.
