Description
A pair of vintage rimless spectacles by Cartier, featuring oval lenses joined by a slim, arched gold-tone metal bridge. The thin, straight temple arms terminate in contoured earpieces crafted from a marbled burgundy-coloured synthetic material. The interior of one temple arm is incised with the characters © Cartier Paris MADE IN FRANCE 130. Both temple tips feature an inlaid gold-tone plaque bearing the Cartier signature in cursive script. The spectacles are held within a branded hardshell case finished in burgundy textured material with gold-tone metal corner protectors and an embossed interlocking C logo on the exterior flap. The interior of the case is lined with tan suede-effect material and features a burgundy oval plaque marked Cartier Paris.

Condition report:
The gold-tone metal frames show minor surface scratches and light wear consistent with age and use. The burgundy synthetic temple tips exhibit significant white blooming or frosting to the surface, typical of vintage acetate. Lenses are fitted; the prescription status is unknown. The original case shows moderate exterior scuffing and wear to the gold-tone corner accents, with general darkening and evidence of use visible on the interior lining.
