Description
A novelty cheese spreader by Godinger Silver Art Co. The piece is designed as a single continuous metalwork form. The blade is shaped in the likeness of a wedge of Swiss cheese, featuring four decorative pierced holes of varying sizes. The handle is modelled in the form of a mouse, with its body creating the grip and a curled tail serving as the terminal. The item is constructed from silver-plated metal with a polished finish. The maker mark GODINGER is stamped in capital letters on the reverse base of the cheese-shaped blade.

Condition report:
