Description
A Cold War period military insignia plaque representing the West German Army (Heer) of the Bundeswehr. The shield features a yellow field charged with a black German federal eagle (Bundesadler) with a red beak and talons. An Iron Cross (Eisernes Kreuz) is situated in the upper-left corner. The shield is finished with a red and white border and a high-gloss surface. It is constructed from a thin metal or rigid composite material. The reverse side is plain and shows significant residue from previous adhesive or foam mounting, suggesting it was originally fixed to a vehicle or a wooden display board.

Condition report:
The front of the plaque is in good condition with vibrant colours and limited surface marks. The reverse has substantial adhesive residue and remnants of mounting tape.
