Description
A contemporary Spanish sterling silver photograph frame manufactured by Isabel Cabanillas. The frame is of rectangular form with a plain, polished, bevelled border and rounded corners. It is mounted onto a polished dark wood-finished backing, likely mahogany, with a matching wooden easel stand. The lower front edge of the silver is engraved with a commemorative dedication in Spanish reading Con cariño de Solo en nuestro 50 aniversario, which translates to With love from Solo on our 50th anniversary. The silver edge is struck with Spanish hallmarks for 925 fineness sterling silver, including the five-pointed star within a pentagonal punch. The frame contains the original manufacturer’s insert featuring a stylized IC monogram. The reverse retains a small white printed label for Isabel Cabanillas, Made in Spain.

Condition report:
The frame is in good overall condition. The silver surface exhibits light surface scratching and minor wear consistent with domestic use and periodic cleaning. The wooden backing and easel stand are well-preserved and fully functional. The glass plate is present and appears to be in good condition.
