Description
A mid-20th-century three-piece insulated tea service by Everhot, manufactured by Perry, Bevan & Co. Ltd. of Birmingham, England. The set comprises a spherical teapot, a cream jug, and a twin-handled sugar bowl. Each piece is constructed with a cream-coloured earthenware body featuring integrated ceramic handles and spouts, encased within a polished chrome-plated metal thermal cover. The teapot is fitted with a matching cream-coloured ceramic finial. These covers were designed to retain heat using an internal insulation layer. All pieces bear printed marks on their undersides. The teapot base is marked with a capital H, EVER-HOT, MADE IN ENGLAND, PATENT No. 523942, and REG. No. 838864. The cream jug and sugar bowl are both marked with a capital H, EVERHOT, MADE IN ENGLAND, PAT. APP. FOR 2921/50, and PROV. PAT. No. 6797/50.

Condition report:
The ceramic bodies show fine, age-related crazing to the glaze, primarily visible on the underside bases. The polished metal covers exhibit light surface scratches and minor scuffing consistent with age and use. No significant chips, cracks, or repairs are visible to the ceramic components or handles.
