Description
A set of ten gold-toned metal blazer buttons produced by the Savile Row cloth merchant Holland and Sherry. The collection consists of four larger front-closure buttons and six smaller cuff buttons. Each button is designed with a circular form featuring a linear engine-turned textured centre, surrounded by a raised and polished smooth border. The set is presented in its original navy blue brand-marked case, which features a blue velvet-lined tray and a cream satin lid lining. The interior of the lid is printed in gold with the Holland and Sherry logo, Savile Row – London, and Made in England. The exterior of the lid is embossed with the brand name and logo in gold.
Case length: approximately 22 cm.
Condition report:
The buttons are in good condition with no significant wear or tarnishing visible to the metal surfaces. The presentation case shows light scuffing to the exterior and some minor foxing and spotting to the interior cream satin lining.
