Description
An extensive group lot comprising fashion eyewear and a variety of vintage decorative smalls. The eyewear collection features an assortment of sunglasses in multiple styles, including metal-framed aviators, rectangular plastic frames, and oversized fashion designs, alongside a pair of black-framed plastic 3D glasses. The frames are constructed from acetate, plastic, and metal with assorted tinted lenses in smoke, brown, and gradient tones. The decorative objects include a silver-toned oval picture frame featuring an embossed Art Nouveau motif of a tree and floral base, a black-painted cast-metal figurine of a bull, and a rectangular metal tin with a cream and black geometric vertical stripe pattern. Further items include a vintage cardboard box for a kitchen decorating tool with printed text relating to variety designs, a grey fabric-covered presentation box containing booklets and a small dark decorative object, and an ornate gilt-metal fragment depicting a seated cherub or putto figure. No maker marks are clearly discernible on the items.
Condition report:
All items are in used, vintage condition. Sunglasses exhibit minor surface wear, dust, and light scratches to lenses and frames from bulk storage. The bull figurine shows areas of paint loss. The vintage cardboard box shows significant shelf wear, rubbing to edges, and creasing. Metal decorative items show varying degrees of surface patination and oxidisation commensurate with age.
