Description
A substantial pendant necklace featuring a pear-shaped labradorite cabochon. The stone displays characteristic labradorescence with flashes of peacock blue, green, and gold. It is set within a polished silver-toned bezel frame, embellished on the lower right front with an asymmetrical, openwork scrolling foliate motif. The reverse of the setting features four prongs securing the gemstone. The pendant is suspended from a tapered bale with a textured, pebbled finish on the front face. Small indentations are visible on the reverse of the bale indicating potential marks, however, they are not clearly legible. The pendant is attached to a flat mariner link chain, also known as an anchor chain, comprising oval links with a central bar.

Chain: Approximately 60cm length.
Condition report:
Overall good condition. The labradorite gemstone exhibits natural internal inclusions and some surface-reaching fissures characteristic of the stone. The silver-toned metalwork shows light surface scratches and minor tarnishing consistent with moderate use.
