An assortment of cast metal belt buckles and collar tips featuring various Western and Americana motifs. One prominent brass-tone buckle depicts a Native American figure with outstretched arms, marked on the reverse with © 1990 BERGAMOT DELAVAN, WI 53115 and an inscribed plaque reading: A SACRED MANNER I LIVE. TO THE HEAVENS I GAZED. A SACRED MANNER I LIVE. MY HORSES ARE MANY. Other buckles include a Winchester Western themed piece with a blue enamel background and white metal equestrian relief, a Country Western buckle featuring a band with a guitar, a Bootscootin design with cowboy boots, and a buckle depicting a cowboy against a United States flag. The collection further comprises a coin-style buckle featuring a 1931 Indian Head design and a horseshoe-shaped buckle with a central saddle motif. Accompanying the buckles are several pairs of decorative metal collar tips, including gold-tone examples with horseshoe and boot designs, and silver-tone examples with engraved patterns. The reverse of the buckles features standard metal loops and prongs for belt attachment.
Buckles measure approximately 7.5 cm to 10 cm in width.
Collar tips measure approximately 2.5 cm in length.
Condition report:
The items are in a used but well-preserved condition. Observable surface patina and minor wear are consistent with age and previous use. The blue enamel on the Winchester buckle is largely intact. All reverse hardware is present and appears functional.
