This pair of Royal Worcester fine bone china figurines is from the Splendour at Court collection and was sculpted by John Bromley for Compton and Woodhouse. The first figurine, titled A Royal Anniversary (reference CW 317), depicts a woman in a pale green and white Victorian-style ball gown with a pleated skirt and draped overskirt, accented with applied pink roses and bows; she is holding a closed fan. The second figurine, titled A Royal Presentation (reference CW 258), depicts a woman in a tiered pale pink and white gown with ruffled edges and applied pink roses, holding a handheld mirror. Both pieces feature hand-painted details and applied porcelain flowers. The bases carry black Royal Worcester backstamps with detailed production information. A Royal Anniversary is numbered 10483 of a limited edition of 12,500 and is dated 1996. A Royal Presentation is numbered 5818 of a limited edition of 12,500 and is dated 1995.
