Description
A collection comprising three vintage safety razor sets, each contained within an original presentation case. The first set is an Ever-Ready single-edge safety razor set. The cream-coloured moulded plastic case features a hinged lid with the brand name Ever-Ready printed on the interior lining. The set includes a nickel-plated razor with a knurled handle and comb-style head, accompanied by two white plastic blade containers marked BLADES and several loose blade packets. The second set is a Valet AutoStrop safety razor set. It is housed in a nickel-plated metal case with a purple velvet-lined interior. The interior lid is printed in gold lettering with VALET AutoStrop Safety Razor. The set includes a specialised razor designed with an integrated stropping mechanism and a knurled handle. The third set consists of a double-edge safety razor with a twist-to-open butterfly head mechanism. It is presented in a rectangular nickel-plated metal case with a green velvet lining. The razor features a heavily knurled handle and a nickel-plated finish. The case also contains a spare base plate and a single-edge blade.
Condition report:
The collection shows age-appropriate wear throughout. The Ever-Ready plastic case has minor surface grime and aging. The Valet metal case exhibits surface oxidation and tarnishing, while the interior velvet shows light wear. The green-lined metal case displays significant surface wear and tarnishing to the exterior, with wear to the interior fabric. The mechanical components appear intact, though functionality has not been tested.
