Description
This vintage clockwork toy is a Chair-O-Plane style carousel manufactured by Georg Fischer (GF) in Germany. The piece is constructed from lithographed tinplate and features a central rotating globe at the top, supported by a tapered red metal column. Four rocket-style cars are suspended from the globe by metal link chains, with each car carrying two small figures. The circular base is decorated with a detailed fairground scene depicting crowds and amusement stalls. The globe is marked with the manufacturer name FISCHER and includes German geographic labels such as VER. STAATEN, MEXIKO, and AUSTRALIEN. The toy operates via an internal clockwork motor.

Condition report:
The toy is complete with all four hanging cars and figures present. The lithographed surfaces show general wear, including small scratches and scuffs consistent with age and play. There is light surface oxidation and tarnishing present on the metal chains and the central red support structure. The mechanical function of the internal clockwork motor has not been tested. No original box or packaging is present.
