Description
A vintage Tri-ang Arkitex scale model construction kit, manufactured by Spot-On Models Ltd in Northern Ireland. The set is contained within its original illustrated cardboard box. The lid features a period colour illustration depicting a youth assembling a multi-storey building, with a background of urban construction including scaffolding and a tower crane. The kit is designed for architectural modelling in 00 HO scale. Visible markings on the lid include the Tri-ang Regd Trade Mark logo, the Spot-On Models by Tri-ang logo, and a yellow printed badge stating 00 HO SCALE. The front side of the lid is printed with the text ARKITEX SCALE MODEL CONSTRUCTION KIT and MADE IN NORTHERN IRELAND BY SPOT-ON MODELS LTD.
Width: Approximately 46 cm (18 inches).
Condition report:
The original cardboard box lid shows signs of wear consistent with age, including rubbing and scuffing to the edges and corners. There is visible creasing to the lid surface and a small tear on the upper right edge. A circular yellow adhesive price label is attached to the upper right corner of the lid illustration. The internal contents have not been inspected for completeness or condition and are sold as seen.
