Description
A vintage Ronson Electronic gas pocket lighter presented within its original retail box. The lighter is constructed with a gold-plated metal body featuring a vertically textured engine-turned finish and a blank rectangular cartouche on the lower front face. It is designed with a side-mounted black-bordered ignition button. The base of the lighter contains the fuel refill valve and flame adjustment control. The presentation box features a dark exterior and a purple fabric-lined interior lid, with a blue velvet-lined base designed to hold the lighter. The interior lid is printed with a silver-toned Royal Warrant crest followed by text reading BY APPOINTMENT TO H.R.H. THE DUKE OF EDINBURGH SUPPLIERS OF ELECTRIC SHAVERS RONSON PRODUCTS LTD. LONDON and the model designation Ronson Electronic.

Condition report:
The lighter and box are in good vintage condition. The lighter shows minor surface wear and light scratches to the gold-plated finish consistent with age and regular use. The electronic ignition and gas seal have not been tested and the item is sold as seen. The presentation box exhibits minor scuffing to the exterior edges and light age-related discolouration to the interior fabric lining.
