Description
A decorative, non-firing replica of an 18th-century English cannon-barrel flintlock pistol, manufactured by Denix. The piece is constructed from cast metal with a stained wood pistol-style grip. The barrel features decorative turned rings and the frame is cast with scrollwork engraving on both side plates, each including a central panel with the word LONDON. It features a non-functional flintlock-style mechanism with a replica flint held in the cock. A red and gold adhesive manufacturer label is present on the right side of the barrel. This item is intended for ornamental or theatrical use and is not a functional firearm.
Total length: 28 cm (approximately 11 inches).
Condition report:
The item is in good decorative condition showing minor surface wear and oxidation to the metal components consistent with age and display. The wooden grip remains in good order with no visible cracks or structural damage.
