Description
A diverse collection of vintage and modern collectibles, presentation items, and scientific instruments. The lot includes a drafting and mathematical instrument set contained within a hinged wooden case with a green velvet-lined interior, featuring various brass and steel instruments including compasses and dividers. The interior lid displays a circular gold-coloured maker’s emblem. Also present is a Mikimoto International writing set in a navy blue presentation box with cream satin lining, marked MIKIMOTO international, containing a gold-tone pen with a pink barrel and a tan leather pouch on a chain. The collection features a circular brass-cased aneroid barometer with a glass face and scales for Stormy, Rain, Change, Fair, and Very Dry, with a visible internal mechanism. Further items include a wooden Unfailing Promises religious box with a printed paper label, a Harrods Personal Seal Set with wax in a green cardboard box, two circular Eddie Stobart Collection tins, and a pocket chess set in a textured black box. Scientific and desktop objects include a small globe on a three-legged brass-finish stand and a miniature brass miner’s safety lamp. The lot is completed by a silver-coloured metal hip flask, an Art Nouveau style metal panel, a straight razor in a black case, a Singer wooden measuring stick, and an assortment of modern keychains and trinkets.

Condition report:
The items are in mixed condition consistent with their varied ages. The drafting set and barometer are vintage pieces showing surface wear and patina. The Mikimoto set and Eddie Stobart tins appear to be in good presentation condition. The Unfailing Promises box shows age-related wear and losses to the paper label. All items are sold as seen; mechanical and optical functions are untested.
