Description
This lot comprises two miniature decorative swords, styled as 17th-century Spanish cup-hilt rapiers, traditionally produced as souvenirs or letter openers. One piece is finished in a gold-toned metal and the other in a silver-toned metal. Both hilts feature intricate geometric patterns and multi-coloured enamel-style infills in shades of red, blue, white, and black, characteristic of the damascene tradition. The tapered steel blades are designed with a central fuller and show decorative etching near the ricasso. One tan-coloured scabbard is included, featuring metal throat and chape fittings that match the gold-toned sword. The scabbard is inscribed with the word TOLEDO in a stylized script.

Condition report:
Both items are in good vintage condition, showing light surface wear and minor tarnishing consistent with age and decorative use. One scabbard is missing from the pair.
