Description
A collection of vintage tobacco smoking pipes, highlighted by a Sicilian terracotta figural pipe. The bowl of the terracotta piece is sculpted as a man’s head wearing a flat cap and features a rustic, branch-like stem. A red seal on the shank displays a crown over the letters RR. This pipe is accompanied by its original cardboard retail box, labelled PIPA SICILIANA (IN TERRACOTTA) with the RR logo and text referencing S. Stefano di Camastra, an Italian centre known for ceramic production. The assortment further contains multiple wooden pipes of various designs, including a piece with a hinged metal wind cap and decorative stem, several rusticated wooden bowls, and smooth-finished examples with ebonised mouthpieces. All pipes show evidence of previous use with charred interiors.

Standard wooden pipe length: approx. 5.5 inches.
Condition report:
The terracotta pipe bowl and stem are intact but show use. The original box is in poor condition with heavy staining, structural damage, and tears. The wooden pipes show typical wear including oxidation on stems, surface scratches, and heavy carbon build-up in the bowls.
