Description
An assortment of miscellaneous vintage objects and decorative items. The collection includes a brown leather wallet marked Sable Calf MADE IN ENGLAND, containing a Bank of England ten-shilling note (serial N98Z 971242) and a one-pound note (serial 093C 700536). Featured glassware consists of a cobalt blue glass decanter with gold-tone floral decoration and the inscription HOLLAND, fitted with a figural pewter-style stopper, and a clear glass tumbler with a pewter base featuring a stag head motif and character marks B, a, and d. Other items include a red cricket ball with a tag marked JERGER GERMAN, a pair of horn spoons, and an orange lithographed tin bucket featuring a cartoon mouse illustration. The collection further comprises a black lacquered box with floral motifs, a rectangular tin depicting a cycling race marked DEPOSE, a circular leather-cased tape measure, a small red-bound book, a decorative picture frame with faux-pearl embellishments, and a white ceramic handle inscribed PULL.
Crate length approximately 43 cm (17 inches).
Condition report:
The items show varying degrees of age-related wear, surface marks, and patina. The leather wallet and tape measure exhibit scuffing and wear to the surfaces. Metal components, including the decanter stopper and tin containers, show signs of oxidation and light paint loss. Paper currency is in circulated condition with visible creases. Glass and ceramic elements appear generally intact with surface dust and minor handling marks.
