Description
An assortment of manual woodworking and workshop tools, primarily dating from the late 19th to mid-20th century. The collection includes several wooden-bodied planes, such as a smoothing plane and larger jack plane components, alongside a metal-bodied smoothing plane with a black-finished handle. Measuring instruments feature a traditional four-fold boxwood ruler with brass hinges and an aluminium-bodied spirit level containing two vials. Also present are a pair of large metal pincers, multiple wooden tool handles likely intended for chisels or files, and a blue plastic-handled implement. The items are constructed from a combination of materials including beechwood, boxwood, steel, brass, and aluminium. The boxwood ruler displays clear markings including sequences 10 through 16 and 20 through 26. No definitive maker marks are legible on the spirit level or plane bodies.

Items are in used, as-found condition consistent with age and workshop environment. Visible surface oxidation and pitting to metal components. Wooden bodies show signs of wear, staining, and some evidence of historical use. The completeness of the planes is unverified; some may lack irons, wedges, or internal mechanisms.
