Description
A mid-century table lamp featuring a heavy, clear crystal glass base of sculptural, organic form, resembling a twisted tree trunk. The base is constructed from solid glass with a flared, stable foot. The underside of the base bears a circular impressed mark containing raised characters and a central monogram, consistent with the style of Val Saint Lambert, although the mark is not clearly legible. The lamp is paired with a rectangular, tapered fabric lampshade in a maroon colour, decorated with gold-toned braided trim to the top and bottom edges. The lamp is fitted with a brown electrical cord, an in-line thumb switch, and a standard UK three-pin plug.

Condition report:
The glass base remains in good condition with no apparent chips, cracks, or deep scratches. The fabric shade shows some minor signs of age-related wear and light surface dust. As with all electrical items, this lamp must be inspected and PAT-tested by a qualified professional prior to use.
