Description
This collection comprises eleven decorative items crafted from various hardwoods, featuring a variety of ethnographic styles. The assortment includes a large stylized sculpture depicting two figures whose embrace forms a heart shape with a red-stained interior; two dark-stained wooden figures created in the style of West African Ashanti Akuaba fertility dolls; a tiered polychrome mask featuring a bird and serpent motif above a human face; two small painted tribal figurines embellished with white beadwork necklaces and anklets; a carved giraffe with a painted spotted pattern; two dark wooden bowls featuring relief-carved floral and foliate bands; and two small animal-shaped plaques.
