Lot 69:
Description
A collection of three static display model train sets from the Minitrains series by Editions Atlas Collections, produced in 1/220 (Z) scale. Each set is housed in its original black presentation box with a ballasted display track section. The models are constructed from die-cast metal and plastic components.
The first set represents the Southern Railway, featuring a West Country class 4-6-2 steam locomotive in malachite green livery, numbered 21C110 with SOUTHERN on the tender. This is accompanied by two Pullman coaches in traditional brown and cream livery.
The second set depicts a Trans Europ Express (TEE) diesel-electric train in red and cream livery, comprising a streamlined power car and two passenger coaches with TRANS EUROP EXPRESS lettering along the upper cream section.
The third set features Soviet-style railway equipment, including two blue diesel locomotives with yellow lightning-bolt stripes and Cyrillic markings for the TE3 class (ТЭ3-2255), alongside a green passenger coach.
Each box lid features a gold-toned plaque inscribed MINITRAINS 1/220 and the EDITIONS ATLAS Collections logo.
Box dimensions: approximately 19 cm x 19 cm each.
Condition report:
The models appear to be in excellent condition, remaining in their original form-fitted foam inserts. No visible paint loss or damage is evident on the models. The presentation boxes show minor signs of shelf wear and light scuffing to the exterior surfaces.
