Description
A Bachmann Branch-Line OO gauge (1:76 scale) model of a British Rail Class 66 diesel-electric locomotive. The model is finished in the Direct Rail Services (DRS) dark blue livery featuring light blue compass stripes and company branding. The running number is 66412. This locomotive is factory-fitted with Digital Command Control (DCC) as indicated by the DCC ON BOARD label on the packaging. The construction comprises a plastic body shell mounted on a die-cast metal chassis. The item is presented in its original Bachmann Branch-Line Blue Riband series window box, complete with the polystyrene inner tray and protective tissue paper. Transcription of visible markings on the locomotive side include DIRECT RAIL SERVICES, the website address www.directrailservices.com, and the number 66412. The box is printed with BACHMANN BRANCH-LINE MODEL RAILWAYS and features the BLUE RIBAND emblem.

Condition report:
The model appears to be in excellent, well-preserved condition. The paintwork and fine detailing, including the handrails, buffers, and roof-mounted fans, appear intact and undamaged. The packaging shows minor signs of shelf wear and light creasing to the card edges but remains structurally sound. The internal polystyrene and tissue packaging are present and in good order. Please note that the motor and DCC decoder functionality have not been tested.
