Description
A pair of vintage collectible bottles. The first is a Garnier ceramic figural decanter modelled as a Scottish bagpiper in traditional highland dress, including a kilt, sporran, and feather bonnet. The figure is hand-painted and features a black plastic screw-cap integrated into the top of the bonnet. A metallic foil label on the base is inscribed SCOTCH WHISKY, Produce of Scotland, 6 Fl. oz, 37.4 deg GL, and 65.5 deg Proof. The second is an embossed dark green glass mineral water bottle of Victorian or Edwardian date. The front is embossed HALL and CO above a central emblem featuring three shields, representing the North Shields coat of arms, and NORTH SHIELDS in a lower arch.

Condition report:
The ceramic decanter is in good vintage condition with minor paint loss and scuffing to the feet and base. Surface dust is present throughout. The foil label shows light creasing and edge wear. The glass mineral water bottle is in fair to good condition, exhibiting significant surface wear, including scratching and scuffing consistent with an excavated bottle. Internal clouding and residue are present. No major chips or cracks are visible.
