Description
This collection of early 1970s football memorabilia comprises several large-format colour photographic prints issued by Typhoo Tea Ltd, Birmingham 5, and commemorative coin sets produced by Esso. The Typhoo prints feature prominent players of the era, with visible subjects including Billy McNeill of Celtic and Scotland, Billy Bremner of Leeds United and Scotland, Bobby Tambling of Chelsea and England, and Jim Baxter of Sunderland and Scotland. Each print is headed with With the Compliments of Typhoo Ltd Birmingham 5 and includes a printed signature and player biography at the foot. The collection also includes two folders from the Esso F.A. Cup Centenary 1872-1972 collection. One folder, titled The Story of the F.A. Cup Winners 1872-1972, features action photography and contains silver-toned commemorative medals for various winning clubs. The second folder, titled F.A. Cup Centenary 1872-1972, features a trophy illustration with a gold wreath and contains a detailed list of finalists and scores from 1872 to 1972. The coins feature club crests for teams such as Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool, and Tottenham Hotspur.

Condition report:
The Typhoo prints show signs of age-related wear, including yellowed adhesive tape residue at the corners, minor edge bumping, and light surface creasing. The Esso card folders exhibit rubbing and wear to the edges and corners. The interior coin boards show some surface scuffing and minor paper loss around the coin slots. The commemorative coins appear in good condition with minor surface oxidation. The completeness of the coin sets has not been verified against a full checklist.
