Description
This lot comprises an assortment of vintage items and collectibles. Included are two tan leather travel wallets from Pan American World Airways, one featuring the Pan Am logo and the other inscribed Pan American World’s Most Experienced Airline. The wallets contain a United States one-dollar bill and a foreign banknote denominated 100. The collection features several wooden items, including a long rectangular case and a decorative lidded box with a brass-tone latch and inlaid ornamentation. A dark ceramic bowl contains various miniatures and small items, including a die-cast vintage coupe in white and green, a red double-decker bus with New York livery, a small wooden barrel marked Jerusalem, and a green vinyl case for a magnifier. Further items include a pair of metal bellows, thimbles, a blue glass vessel, a pewter-tone figure, two amber glass salt cellars, and a folding fan with a black leaf and carved guard. An Ipswich Town football club keyring and a Fisherman’s Friend tin are also included. A wooden folding ruler marked Singer and Made Mark of The Singer Manufacturing Company is present.
The Singer ruler shows measurements from 1 to 7 inches and 30 to 33 inches.
Condition report:
Items show general age-related wear consistent with use and age. The leather wallets exhibit scuffing and minor discoloration. Wooden surfaces show surface scratches and minor losses to the finish. Die-cast vehicles have significant paint loss and chipping. Patina and oxidation are present on metal items, including the bellows, thimbles, and keyring. The magnifier case shows wear to the printed text. Ceramic and glass components appear intact but exhibit minor surface wear.
