Description
This lot comprises an assortment of small antiques, collectibles, and scientific instruments. Key items include a military-style lensatic compass with a green-painted metal housing and a liquid-filled dial, a brass-tone desktop mechanical calendar with roller mechanisms for months and days, and a commemorative gold-tone and enamel medallion housed in a green velvet-lined case. The collection features a cylindrical souvenir tin commemorating a Royal Wedding with a portrait of Prince Charles, alongside two decorative compact mirrors, one featuring a butterfly and floral motif and the other a carved sunflower pattern. Figurines within the lot include a silver and gold-tone elephant inset with red and clear stones, a silver-tone duck, and a small animal figure carved from banded onyx or alabaster. Other personal accessories and tools include an ornate rhinestone-set metal buckle, a large curved piece of polished horn or bone, a pair of red-handled nutcrackers, and a handheld magnifying glass. Several small pocket compasses and gauges in metal cases are present, as well as a small rectangular tin with a paper label for Whites and a set of six black and white dice. Visible inscriptions and markings include Norman Centre Bowls Club on the medallion, Royal Wedding on the souvenir tin, Whites, Cumberland St., Non. PA 17042, 272-4985 on the small tin label, and December and January on the calendar rollers.

Condition report:
The items are in good, used condition consistent with age. There is visible surface wear and loss to the red paint on the nutcracker handles. Minor scuffing and oxidation are present on the metal surfaces of the tins, compass cases, and various small metal objects. The mechanical functions of the compasses and calendar have not been tested for accuracy or operation.
