Description
This is a vintage manual fire alarm call point manufactured by the British firm Gents of Leicester. The unit consists of a square housing made of cast metal with a red painted finish. The front of the device features a circular viewing window with an intact glass panel. The glass is printed with black text reading IN CASE OF FIRE BREAK GLASS and the manufacturer name GENTS at the bottom. A metal plunger button is positioned behind the glass panel. The reverse of the cast metal housing is embossed with the model designation PS51. A circular knockout for cable entry is located on the side of the casing.

Condition report:
The item is in used vintage condition with visible signs of age and service. The red paint has significant wear, including widespread chips, scratches, and areas of loss, particularly along the edges and on the rear casting. The four screws on the front face show signs of surface rust and oxidation. The glass panel is intact and the printed lettering remains clear and legible. The internal mechanism appears complete but has not been tested for functional operation. This item is sold as a collectible for display purposes.
