Description
A humorous sepia-toned etching by Boris OKlein (1893-1985), part of the iconic Dirty Dogs of Paris (Les Chiens de Paris) series. The composition illustrates nine anthropomorphic dogs of various breeds, including a dachshund, a poodle, and a French bulldog, standing in a queue along a pavement. The scene concludes at the right with a dog urinating against a tree that bears a sign inscribed ICI. The upper left margin features the printed inscription Copyright by O. Klein, 15, rue de la Grange Bateliere, Paris. The print is signed OKlein in the lower right corner. It is housed in a simple rectangular wooden frame under glass.

Condition report:
The paper shows significant foxing concentrated in the upper background. There is pronounced overall toning and yellowing consistent with age. Minor rippling of the paper is visible within the frame. The wooden frame exhibits light surface wear and minor scuffing.
